Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data is processed when you visit bestslotslist.com, why, and what rights you have. We collect as little as we can: the site has no user accounts, no comments, no newsletter and no payment forms.

What we process

• Server and security logs. When you load a page, your browser sends technical data such as IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page and the browser type. This is needed to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes these requests on our behalf.
• Cookies set by our server. Our server sets four first-party cookies. Two of them, both marked Secure and HttpOnly, are mz_vid, a random visitor identifier kept for 365 days, and mz_src, which remembers for 30 days how you reached the site (for example directly or from a search engine) so that a later click on an affiliate link can be attributed correctly. They are set when you open a page. When you click a link to a casino, which passes through our /go/ address, the server also sets XSRF-TOKEN and mozbiz_session, kept for 20 hours, which carry the click to the operator's page and protect the request from forgery.
• Analytics. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (such as _ga) and processes your IP address and device data. Where the law requires consent for this, it runs only with your consent.
• Outbound clicks. When you follow a link to a casino, the operator or its affiliate network may learn that you came from Best Slots List. What the operator does with your data after that is governed by its own privacy policy.
• Emails. If you write to us, we process your email address and the content of your message to answer it.

Why we process it

Where the GDPR or a similar law applies, we rely on our legitimate interest in running, securing and improving the site (server logs, first-party cookies, answering emails) and on your consent where consent is required (analytics cookies). You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting cookies or changing your browser settings.

How long we keep it

Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes and then deleted. Cookie lifetimes are given above. Emails are kept as long as needed to deal with your message and any follow-up.

Who receives it

We do not sell personal data. Data is processed by our hosting and delivery providers, including Cloudflare, and by Google for analytics. Some of these providers process data outside your country; where required, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, write to [email protected]. You may also complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Managing cookies

You can delete cookies and block them in your browser settings. Blocking cookies does not stop the site from working.

Children

The site is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly process data of minors.

Changes

We update this policy when our processing changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
