Lady Godiva Slot

Once upon a time, somewhere in old England, namely in Coventry, during the Eleventh century, there was a stingy and greedy local ruler called Earl Leofric. In order to gain more profit from the lands, he increased local taxes more and more, which made the already miserable life of local peasants almost unbearable. Yet somehow, such an unpleasant man happened to have a beautiful, generous and kind wife known as Lady Godiva.

She took pity on her husband subjects, and asked him if he could decrease taxes for the people. At first he refused, but as Godiva asked the same question more and more, he told her that he would grant her request, but only if she ride streets of Coventry without any clothes on her body. Apparently, he thought that she would refuse, but instead she ordered all people of the town to stay in their houses (with closed windows) and took a ride naked. Being a man of his word, Leofric decreased taxes, happy end. This story inspired many different forms of art, including video games. At first Lady Godiva (WMS) was a real-life slot machine that could be seen, for example, at Las Vegas casinos. Then, as the popularity of online slot games has grown, it was represented online. So now, every gambler can try the online version of the legendary slot machine and win real money. Furthermore, Lady Godiva (WMS) requires no download and no registration as well.

What can Lady Godiva (WMS) Offer to You
Gameplay and Prizes

As medieval England was not so rich, Lady Godiva (WMS) can only offer a truly modest jackpot of 80,000 dollars. Yet, aside from the jackpot, there are thousands of ways to win in the game. Actually, there are exactly 4,096 possible winning combinations, as the slot is one of the Any Way-engined games played at 6×4 reels.

This means that there are no predefined paylines on the screen, any combination of paying symbols that can be formed on reels in direction from left to right brings wins to the player. Most times, this means that wins are expected to occur more frequently than in smaller-sized slots, but the value of each win is usually quite smaller.

As Lady Godiva (WMS) was ported from real slot machines, the game graphics and animations are decent. So expect no impressive background animations or eye-candy symbols. Speaking of symbols, this game uses a standard deck of cards from a Jack to an Ace, a sealed letter, a kitten, a rose, a diadem, a mandolin and the Peeping Tom.

Lady Godiva herself is a special type of a paying symbol, as her portrait has 1×4 size and thus can potentially take the whole reel. As the game was based on its offline version, the number of paying lines is unchangeable and autoplay is not available.
