Pariplay is a familiar name in the online gambling industry as an aggregator and content provider. Still, the NeoGames subsidiary hopes to be known for its original, in-house content. Pursuing that goal, Pariplay just debuted its Wizard Games online slots via Caesars Sportsbook and Casino in New Jersey.
On Thursday, Tel Aviv-based NeoGames made the Pariplay announcement. Because Caesars signed up for Pariplay’s Fusion platform – which includes player conversion and retention tools and more than 14,000 games from 80-plus suppliers – Caesars also gained access to slots created by Pariplay’s in-house studio, Wizard Games.
NeoGames said Pariplay is also providing Caesars Sportsbook and Casino in New Jersey with “US-focused content” from its Ignite and third-party vendors.
In Thursday’s announcement about Caesars, NeoGames President Tsachi Maimon said:
We continue to make great strides in the North American iGaming market, and this launch represents a major milestone for us as we continue to provide players in the region with a wide range of content that we believe will hold great appeal. It’s fantastic to have taken the first step in taking our casino products live with Caesars, and we look forward to continuing to work together.
Matthew Sunderland, senior vice president of online gaming at Caesars Entertainment, said:
Pariplay has access to a huge wealth of content, including its excellent Wizard Games range, so it’s a positive step to launch its new content for our audience in New Jersey. Its games add plenty of weight to our already wide-ranging portfolio and our players are sure to be engaged and entertained by what’s offered both now and in the future.
NeoGames’ stock, NGMS, is down more than 1% since Thursday’s news.
Why Pariplay Is a Familiar Name
Pariplay is already a fixture in New Jersey online casino gambling.
In June 2024, BetMGM Casino reached a similar deal with Wizard Games. At the time, NeoGames was finalizing its acquisition of Pariplay’s parent company, Aspire Global.
When PlayStar launched in August 2024, the site also had a Pariplay partnership.
However, BetRivers was the first US online casino site to host Pariplay games, according to Rush Street Interactive (RSI).
RSI’s press release in February 2021 said Pariplay games would be on its PlaySugarHouse brand, which has since rebranded to BetRivers. The games included:
- Amazing Riches
- Dragons of the North
- Wolf Riches
On Dec. 15, 2024, the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) renewed authorization for Pariplay “to continue to conduct internet gaming-related business transactions” with:
- Golden Nugget Atlantic City and RSI regarding a May 2020 software license agreement;
- Tropicana Casino and Resort and Caesars, also about a software license agreement, this one from September 2021; and
- Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa, about software license agreements from October 2021 for BetMGM and bwin.party (sites PartyCasino and Partypoker that Entain now owns).
DGE Director David Rebuck approved renewing all three transactions until June 29, 2024.
Meanwhile, NeoGames said on Thursday that the Caesars agreement was significant:
Through launching with Caesars, Pariplay is taking a strategically important step toward the long-term goal of becoming a leading content supplier in North America, where it has recently signed several important deals to offer content from its Fusion platform.
Although the Fusion tools – Fusion Tournaments, Raffle Rocket, and Spin that Wheel – may sound like online casino games, they’re really gambler conversion and retention mechanisms.
However, it’s becoming clear that US online casino operators maintain bettor interest by regularly introducing new games.
