Talk about perfect timing for NFL and college football betting. And it marks the first US entry for the well-known European sports betting operator.

The New Jersey online sports betting tally is now at 16 sites, with more on the horizon.

Bet365 is the second of three skins operating under the Hard Rock Atlantic City license. The other is the self-branded platform from Gaming Innovation Group, which launched back in late January.

Unibet sportsbook, Hard Rock’s other online skin, originally targeted a summer launch, but there have been no updates regarding when the site will be live. Unibet online casino, however, is up and running.

The timing of the Bet365 launch should not come as a surprise.

Back in June, NJ Gambling Sites caught up with Hard Rock AC president Joe Lupo, who said, “… And we hope to see Bet365 before football season.”

Is there an app for Bet365 NJ?

The US-facing website for Bet365 takes you to a mobile-optimized landing page when you access it on your phone or tablet. It immediately offers you the option to download an iOS-compatible app.

A direct download for Android is available when you access the same mobile site on an Android device.

This means that Bet365 sportsbook in New Jersey enters the market with a complete array of apps for users.

How can I deposit at Bet365 sportsbook?

Bet365 comes ready with a full slate of deposit options during its testing period including:

  • PayNearMe
  • Bank transfer
  • PayPal
  • Skrill
  • Credit/debit
  • Cash (at Hard Rock AC)

Other elements of note for NJ sports betting fans

All in all, the overall look and feel of Bet365 NJ is similar to its well-known European site. Users can customize how the odds are shown, view top events, change the language, and receive live game updates.

Another unique feature for Bet365 is its live-streaming capabilities. According to the app, users can stream “over 140,000 live events each year.”

That’s a convenient amenity as US users head into prime football betting season.

There’s a Bet365 online casino, too

For NJ online casino fans, Bet365 doesn’t let you down either. The site comes equipped with a robust slate of casino games with a shared wallet.

To access the online casino on your desktop, click the “Casino” link at the top of the page. The site navigates you to the online casino platform where you have access to some familiar casino games including slots, table games, arcade games, and jackpots.

Some of the games listed include:

  • Divine Fortune
  • Starburst
  • Emoji Planet
  • French, American and European roulette
  • Blackjack Multihand
  • Pandamania
  • Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy

All in all, Bet365 Casino comes equipped with about 100 games. However, the Bet365 sportsbook app does not give you access to the casino.

Instead, you need to download a separate app to play at Bet365 Casino. The casino app is available on both Apple and Android devices.

Bet365 settling into New Jersey

Besides launching a sports wagering app in NJ, Bet365 also set up shop in Marlton. It’s unknown what operations are taking place inside the office.

Signing the long-term lease was phase two of the “coming to America” plan. The first was signing a Letter of Intent to partner with Hard Rock for an online skin back in 2018.

Once Unibet launches, the year-old Boardwalk property will have all three of its sports betting slots filled.

Bet365 is the latest operator to join the hot NJ mobile sports betting market. In July, the 10 retail and 14 mobile operators reported a combined handle of $251.3 million for July.

Out of that number, 85% came via mobile.

And in the process, New Jersey flirted with Nevada’s all-time record for the month.
