Last week, the Golden Nugget online casino reported a player hit a $271,268.06 jackpot playing the Divine Fortune online slot. That player went only by the name Susan.
This edged out Phillipsburg, New Jersey’s Kim Seib and the $197,139 online jackpot she won this past June. Seib won the jackpot playing the Wonderland online slot at the Tropicana NJ online casino. News of Seib’s almost $200,000 jackpot win was first reported on the Tropicana blog Aug. 15.
The Divine Fortune jackpot is now the largest slot jackpot won at an online casino in New Jersey this year. Reports of the almost $300,000 win were posted directly on the front page of the Golden Nugget NJ online casino website.
Divine Fortune online slot pays out again in NJ
According to the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement’s ATLANTIC CITY JACKPOTS $75,000 and Over publication dated Aug. 1, 2017, the Divine Fortune online slot on the Golden Nugget online casino also paid out a $119,627 jackpot on May 18, 2017.
The publication also shows three other six-figure slot jackpots have been hit online this year. The largest prior to Seib’s June 25 win was hit on May 11, 2017. This came on the Angel’s Touch online slot at the Betfair (FanDuel NJ Casino) online casino. This jackpot paid out $137,499.
The other two included a $103,240 jackpot hit on the Borgata Online Casino site’s Loot’EnKIhamun online slot on Feb. 5. Plus, the Borgata online casino’s Raging Rhino online slot was hit for a $102,248 jackpot on July 15.
Divine Fortune is a Greek mythology-themed, five row, three reel, and 20 payline online slot. It was designed by premium digital gaming solutions provider NetEnt.
In fact, the game features a trio of progressive jackpots available to be won. It is widely considered a medium variance slot. It plays a little tighter than most slots without a progressive jackpot.
Even bigger slot jackpots abound
A week after the 2017 record win, the Devine Fortune progressive jackpot on Golden Nugget was already up over $85,000. However, the Golden Nugget online casino has some even larger progressive jackpots available.
These include the more-than $435,000 progressive jackpot available on the Golden Nugget’s Captain Nemo and Millionaire’s Club III online slots. Plus, the progressive jackpot of the Rags to Riches online slot was up close to $130,000 at press time.
The largest online slot jackpot ever awarded in New Jersey remains $1.3 million. Morris Plains, NJ resident Cathy Ruela won that November 2014. Ruela won the seven-figure jackpot playing the Harrah’s online casino’s Millionaire Genie online slot.
