[toc]GameCo continues to boldly go where no video game gambling machine maker has gone before.
GameCo announced a licensing agreement with CBS Consumer Products to develop a new skill-based gambling video game based on the iconic Star Trek franchise.
The VGMs are not just slot machines; they involve playing a game whose payout increases the better the user plays it. In the first Star Trek game, players will pilot a ship in combat from the iconic science-fiction genre.
More VGMs from GameCo in AC?
The announcement is the latest in a string of agreements and new games rolled out by VGM maker GameCo.
The company first hit the scene in November, when its flagship first-person shooter Danger Arena debuted in Atlantic City. GameCo’s VGMs now appear at:

The Star Trek game, at a glance
The first Star Trek game to come from GameCo will be called “Star Trek Deep Space Nine Adventure.” Here’s a description of the game:
“Star Trek Deep Space Nine Adventure” will allow players to take lead of the U.S.S. Defiant and battle their way to victory through immersive ship-to-ship combat. The game will feature highly polished 3D models of the iconic spacecraft that will attract fans of both Star Trek and the space combat genre alike.

Just the latest new game from GameCo
GameCo has signed a number of licensing deals recently, and is planning on developing and releasing more games. It has three games in casinos already, but ten more on the way.
Games are in development for Paramount’s “Mission Impossible,” “Paranormal” and “Ferris Bueller,” as well as “Terminator 2: Judgment Day” from StudioCanal S.A.S.
GameCo plans to go nationwide, hoping to be operational in most major US gaming jurisdictions by the end of 2017. GameCo is also in the middle of trying to raise more funding.
