Which Atlantic City Buffets Are Open?

Ready to shirk the menu and go for an all-you-can-eat feast instead? Atlantic City has you covered. The New Jersey gambling hub has nine brick-and-mortar casinos, many of which feature full buffets with all sorts of vittles and dishes.

Of course, health and safety are of the utmost importance at retail properties these days, so not every buffet is open for business. Here’s a look at which Atlantic City buffets are open to customers.

Option 1: Borgata Buffet

As of this writing, the Borgata is one of only two Atlantic City buffets that currently lists operating hours for customers. If you’re set on getting your fill at an Atlantic City buffet, Borgata is one of your best options.

The Borgata website says the “decadent buffet has options to match any appetite,’ including breakfast, lunch, and dinner selections. Pasta, seafood, Asian cuisine, desserts, carving stations, comfort food…the gang’s all here.

The Borgata Buffet currently operates during the following times:

  • Monday-Tuesday: 8 am to 9 pm
  • Wednesday-Thursday: Closed
  • Friday: 8 am to 9 pm
  • Saturday: 8 am to 10 pm
  • Sunday: 8 am to 9 pm

While I was writing this piece, I tried calling Borgata to confirm these hours and open times, but I couldn’t reach a representative. If you’re planning to visit the buffet, I recommend calling ahead to ensure it is open and operating as normal.

Option 2: Fresh Harvest Buffet At HArd Rock Hotel & Casino

Fresh Harvest Buffet has it all: live cooking stations, carving stations, brick oven pizza, dim sum, dessert, and much more. The buffet is open during the following hours:

  • Sunday-Thursday: 11 am to 9 pm
  • Friday-Saturday: 11 am to 10 pm

If you want a preview of the cuisine on offer, you can check the menu ahead of time.

Possibly Reopening Soon: Golden Nugget Buffet

Golden Nugget Atlantic City creatively calls its buffet “The Buffet.” Unfortunately, it’s closed until further notice according to the resort’s website. It’s possible that Golden Nugget could reopen its buffet in the future, though!

Atlantic City Dining Options

If you’re hankering for a quick fix, you can visit the food court at Resorts Casino or Ocean Casino Resort.

If you’d rather enjoy a sit-down meal at a restaurant, Atlantic City has a wide variety of options available. The city’s nine casino resorts have many restaurants at each property, offering plenty of options to choose from and covering a wide swathe of different cuisines. Head to each resort’s website for more info on the available options.
