New Jersey Sportsbooks Highlight MLS Cup Odds For 2024 Season

With the Major League Baseball season delayed due to a labor dispute, bettors across New Jersey are looking to fill that void. Luckily for us in the Garden State, Major League Soccer has kicked off and there are two local teams that bettors can look at: the Philadelphia Union and the New York Red Bulls.

The Union is looking to build on last season’s success where it made it to the Eastern Conference final, is currently 1-0-1 on the year, and is one of the favorites to win both the East and the MLS Cup.

MLS Odds At NJ Sportsbooks

The team is led by veteran midfielder Alejandro Bedoya, goalie Andre Blake, and Danish forward Mikael Uhre, who is joining the team after winning the Danish league last season with Brondby. He also finished the season as the league’s top goalscorer.

Both BetMGM Sportsbook and FanDuel are giving the Union +1400 odds to win the MLS Cup, while DraftKings has them currently at +800.

When it comes to winning the Eastern Conference, the odds are better for the Union, with FanDuel having them currently at +500, DraftKings at +550, and BetMGM having them at +650.

Over in Harrison, the Red Bulls are off to a 2-0-0 start, having scored seven goals in wins over the San Jose Earthquakes and Toronto FC.

The Red Bulls are the youngest team in MLS and are led by Scottish winger Lewis Morgan, who already has three goals on the year, forward Patryk Klimala, and goalie Carlos Coronel.

Despite the strong start, both FanDuel and DraftKings have the Metros at +1400 to win the MLS cup, while BetMGM has them at +1800.

As for the odds for the Red Bulls to win the Eastern Conference, FanDuel has the lowest odds at +600, while DraftKings has them at +700, and +900 at BetMGM.

FanDuel is also taking wagers on which MLS team will win the Supporters’ Shield, which goes to the team with the best regular-season record. The Union is at +900, while the Red Bulls are at +1100.

FanDuel and DraftKings users can also wager on who will be the top goalscorer in MLS this year. On FanDuel, Uhre is the only Union player listed at +2900, while Klimara is the only Red Bull at +4400. Over on DraftKings, the Red Bulls’ Morgan is listed at +1800 and Klimara is at +3500.
