FanDuel Sportsbook Offers Tom Brady Betting During Coronavirus Pandemic

What NFL team will Tom Brady play for next season?

FanDuel Sportsbook customers can wager on whether the six-time Super Bowl champion is staying in New England or going elsewhere.

The Patriots (-165) are the favorites, but not by much. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+125) are in the mix, too.

NFL free agency opens this week, so Brady’s future is a hot topic. After all,  the majority of the NJ sports betting markets are on hold as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

And with the NCAA Tournament canceled, NFL player movement is now front and center.

Is Tom Brady leaving New England?

Brady wearing a uniform other than the Pats is hard to picture.

During his time in Foxboro, all he has done is win.

His 239 career victories are the most by any NFL player. Brady is the only quarterback in league history to lead his team to six Vince Lombardi trophies.

The most recent of which came in Super Bowl 53.

So, is he staying or going?

For now, the Pats and Bucs are leading the field. However, like with NFL betting, an underdog could prevail.

Here is the rest of the Brady betting field as of Monday afternoon:

  • Chargers +600
  • Raiders or 49ers +1900
  • Dolphins +2900
  • No Team/Retired +2900
  • Colts or Giants +4000
  • Bears +5000
  • Panthers +9500

Of those teams, the Los Angeles Chargers would offer proximity to Hollywood.

And Brady seems to be laying the groundwork for his post-NFL life.

Are the Bengals trading Andy Dalton?

The Cincinnati Bengals have the first pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.

Andy Dalton is currently running the offense. The AFC North squad drafted him in 2011. Furthermore, Dalton is entering the final season of his six-year contract.

The salary cap hit is $17.7 million.

At the same time, the Bengals are expected to draft LSU quarterback Joe Burrow No. 1. He is the 2019 Heisman Trophy winner.

Based on Monday’s FanDuel odds, Dalton being moved is a realistic possibility:

  • Bears -125
  • Patriots +450
  • Dolphins +600
  • Buccaneers or Chargers +900
  • Colts or Raiders +1100
  • Bengals +1600
  • Panthers +3400

And unlike the NBA or NHL, the words delayed or canceled do no apply here.

Call it an NJ sports betting coronavirus reprieve.
